Stratasys Objet500 Connex1 3D Printer Overview
Large Build Envelope
The Objet500 Connex1 has a tray large enough for your prototyping needs. With a tray capable of printing an object measuring 490 x 390 x 200 mm (19.3 x 15.4 x 7.9 in.), users can be confident in efficient, repeatable rapid prototyping results.
Greate ROI
It is simple to operate, fast and efficient. Immediately observe a great return on your investment as the Objet500 Connex1 is perfect for industries that cycle through many design and prototype iterations.
Triple-Jetting Technology
Triple-jetting with a wide range of materials allow you to produce perfect prototypes. Choose up to 3 materials from 14 available photopolymers that simulate rubber, polypropylene and standard manufacturing plastics.
Hot Swapping
With hot-swapping capabilities, you can easily replace empty cartridges with new ones without interrupting your build, making your workflow as smooth as the parts you are producing.
Backed by Proven PolyJet Technology
The Objet500 Connex1 uses PolyJet technology, a proven standard in the world of 3D printing. Similarly to 2D inkjet printing, PolyJet printers lay liquid resin onto the build tray and immediately cure it with a UV light. The layers build up one at a time to create the finished prototype. Upon completion the parts can be held and used immediately without any post-processing or curing.
The PolyJet process uses a gel-like support designed to support overhangs. This material is then easily washed away using water.
By combining precision, speed and multiple materials, PolyJet is the standard for realism.
14 Materials, Limitless Possibilities
Connex1 technology offers 14 base materials including:
• Transparent materials with great dimensional stability and smoothness
• Rubber-like materials (Tango family) suitable for non-slip surfaces
• Rigid Opaque materials (Vero family) in white, grey, blue and black
• Simulated Polypropylene materials with toughness and durability
